Don't Wait For Special

We all have things that we hold off on. Going to the beach until we lose weight. Booking the dream vacation until you make more money. Save for a dream house until you get married (even if you are single). Even something as small drinking the wine you got as a gift or using that nice notebook until you can find something exciting enough to use it for.

But sooner or later we can’t keep waiting. Things go bad or we just run out of time. We’ve all heard the stories of those who did everything “right” with work and family to get a terminal diagnosis and have no time left to do anything they really wanted to do. They all have regret for holding things off. Even when people are asked when there are nearing the end of their life tell of the regrets they have because they held off on doing things or didn’t make time for what they wanted.

We’re always going to have responsibilities, but that should only be the things we do in life. What’s the point in living if we are bored or miserable the whole time doing it?

I’ve seen too many people wait until their old age to do things but have health issues that prevent them from really enjoying them or not be able to do it at all. While you are young and able explore your world. Try the things that get you excited. We never know when mid-life will be.

And it doesn’t have to be anything big. Whatever opens op your world. Whether its trying a new yoga class or trying your hand at painting. Some of us need a little more with traveling or starting businesses.

So here to living my life freer and more creatively. I hope you join me.
